Gaping does NOT automatically mean the cups are too large and can in fact be caused by the cups being too small. Basically if the cups don't have enough room or depth for your breasts then sections of the cup will remain empty or the cup will get pushed/tilted away from your torso causing gaping up top and digging at the bottom of the wire.I've been wearing a 34B forever, and the ABTF calculator says I'm a 32DD or 32DDD.
