As of now a lot of the groups I've been in are barely killing akkan NM with like 30secs to a minute left on the timer. And this is with lvl 9 gems+ and some of the players with 22+ wep. Yea what this mean is that your parties consist of really horrible players. And I mean really horrible because Akkan NM has 0 DPS check. lvl 7 gem or lvl 9 ...Gather 5 white orbs in your position, if you don't remember where the white orbs are, hitting an orb will reveal its colour. The shard cost alone is insane and with so little time to prepare, most of them will need to be bought. Not to mention the raw honing costs and fusion materials needed. My main is 1585 and I already know Akkan HM is out of reach for me. Instead, I'll be aiming for 2-3 Akkan NM ready characters.

What would be the “best” way to get to 1600 AFTER Akkan release? I know that we’ll get a piece of Akkan gear every two weeks since the first one (1-3-5-7), so this is the main limitation to gearing up to 1600. I saw in other posts that you can get to 1600 in the 3rd week if you are 1586.66 and you upgrade two Akkan pieces to +19.
