I will disclose, I shoot a Beretta 391 and a Retay Masai Mara in 20g. In terms of weight, you are looking at a range of around 6-7 lbs, unloaded.

One other difference is the forearm is slimmer on the m2, but I have zero issues with the forearm on the affinity. Both are high quality guns.

The only other discernible difference I've come across is the location of the recoil spring is in the stock for the M2 vs over the mag tube on the Affinity which makes them balance differently, and apparently is also a pain to get to on the M2.Benelli M2 vs Franchi Affinity. Surprisingly the swing on the lighter and shorter M2 was SMOOTHER than the A300. Without the extra weight I was quickly able to swing through the shot. Controls - The A300 seemingly has easier controls.
