"10 lbs trigger pull". If a 1911 needs 10 lbs of trigger pull, the machining must be 3rd world bad. Just get a DAO revolver at that point. It will be more reliable. I don't own any Taurus's. My local gun shop refuses to stock Taurus. The manager told me Taurus gives the customer a bad experience they get pissed off and then no more repeat sales.
