This was our 3rd trip down to lovely Marco Island in the past year. The two "heavy hitters" in terms of hotels in the area are the JW Marriott and Hilton Marco Island. We've previously stayed at the Hilton (both pre and post-renovation) and just recently returned from 5 days at the JW. So I thought this would be a good time to compare the two.

Marco Island... 1. Re: Christmas weather. Late December will usually be warm during the day...beach and/or pool weather...mid 70s. The gulf water will be similar to summer Jersey Shore temps 😊. Evenings can be cool but usually not cold. I’ve worn jeans and boots sometimes during that timeframe or just a sweater over lightweight clothing.
