How do you quit a guild in swtor.

I think its something like "/q guild" or something.....go into the in-game help menu, and search "guild", I believe it is the second result, which is titled "how do I leave a guild" and it gives you the command to do soA message told me that I had to give someone els the guildmaster role before I could gquit. All the usual commands do not work and there is nothing when you right click your name on the guild roster.

Wait for the guild's current GM to get bored with 7.x, stop subscribing, quit playing, whatever. Eventually the GM status goes to some other current subscriber, which could be you. Then invite all your other chars to your new fully armed and operational battle station guild. :) p.s. If you do end up making a guild, be careful!

Posted February 25, 2012. You have to create new ranks in the guild controls tab of the guild window (as guildmaster). You will not be able to change the 'guildmaster' position, but the others can be deleted and replaced with new ones.
