Today: both mags repeatedly loaded to 7-rd capacity +1 in the barrel on each reload. No FTF, no malfunctions. 150 additional rounds.

Kimber Micro 9: it is small. it requires a firm grip. for me, my off hand thumb woulld ride up on to the slide which slowed the recoil sequence and caused FTF and FTE issues... it has to be broken in and fired wet, ie., a little oil on the slide grooves. the extractor has to be kept clean.

I had my Micro 9 CTLG out 3-4 times, it has about 300-400 rounds through it now and so far it has run flawlessly. Only failures at the this point have been slide lock failure on last round. Looks very similar to my 1911. Push the firing pin in from the back and slide the lock plate down. Be careful when removing the lock plate that you don't launch the pin. Not sure how strong that spring is. That is the way to remove the firing pin from the Micro 9. As noted, make sure you keep a finger over the area so you don't launch the spring.
