People who obviously have better rune quality than you. 🤣 For some reason you seem to think it's impossible to rune properly with out having defense on 3. With max D tower / artifacts / the right rolls and substats it's very possible. Not to mention you could just grind out the Accuracy on this rune to add defense if you needed it.

Finished Tricaru DB12 with Lv1 Def tower! Building this team with Lv1 def tower was actually not that hard, but it definitely needs 2 Guard set on each Icaru if you don’t have determination runes. I looked through a few guides and built this team so it can attack 13 times before the dragon hits and 5 times after dragon hits before immunity ... you'll get Tricaru up faster doing rift beasts and crafting determination runes, but you will basically only be working on Icarus in that time. Since you cant get the really good giants/dragons/necro sets your other monsters won't improve much if at all while you work on them.

The rune requirements for a basic tricaru team isn't that high. You just need your defense tower at something other than +0 and to farm guard runes. Determination/fight if you can but not necessary. Non budget is doing God mode twins runes. Yes the guy that made tricaru posted that if you have 12 determination sets equipped you literally only need +12% defence on slot 3 or 5 which is crazy low (this is with max towers, level 5 guild buff, max slot 2, 3, 4 and 6 rune) so essentially if you can SSS light and water rift beast consistently, anyone can run tricaru after you farm for a while thereUnfortunately, I dont have the runes/towers/guild bonuses for tricaru. The way I see it, you may get more determination runes just by farming rifts to get tricaru running sooner, but at the same time as farming guard runes, you're also farming violent runes, shield runes, and focus runes.
