Take that specific book from cm and read it again. I've never played DF, but WotW has a similar class quest route. I searched the quests.xml file (in the mod folder) for the correct quest name, and in the console typed 'givequest [questname]'. It works in War of the Walkers; not sure whether it'll work in Darkness Falls, but might be worth a try?
