If that's no help, try this: Disconnect power cord from rear of PC and press/hold power button for ~15 sec. Then press/hold Ctrl+Esc keys while you plug the cable into rear of PC, and then press/release the power button. (You may need a 3rd hand to help.) Just keep holding Ctrl+Esc.

Aug 1, 2013 · Normally when i connect my charger, nothing changes (besides my power saving settings), but now the power light flashes orange to white and back to orange non-stop. Also my charger is plugged in when this happens and its fully charged. Now when i remove my charger from the computer the light stops flashing, and of course the battery is on it own.
