Jun 3, 2018 at 7:13 AM. I’m on my second and at 32 weeks I was 1cm. At my 37 week appointment I was still 1cm. This past Thursday at my 38 week appointment I am now 3cm dilated 60% effaced. But I guess my situation is different since my first came premie and so I had to be on progesterone shots this pregnancy.

without blood, losing chunks and gobs of mucus plug doesn’t matter much. Even with blood sometimes it doesn’t matter. people can be 2-3 cm dilated a month or more before labor. Dilation before labor really doesn’t mean much either. Relax! You’re probably okay.
Dilation has progressed from last week. I chose to do cervical checks I know it doesn’t necessary indicate when birth is coming but I like to know. This week checked at 37.4 and was 2 cm still 90 percent and +1 station she was saying baby was extremely low and was surprised of how I'm still walking around .
