It's three position alright, but good luck being able to make it work as intended - NOT a forced reset. You have to develop a trigger skill completely for it - it didn't use to be the case of a FTR. While Tac-Con is no longer in business, they did get an ATF approval letter for the 3MR which, just as the FRT-15 does, captures bolt energy to force the reset of the trigger. I think that it is questionable that Rare Breed, the FRT's manufacturer, did not get an ATF letter.
