reset - generally means stopping and starting the server, usually a few times a day. this is done mostly for o/s process cleanup although things like chopped trees will be upright again. This does not automatically respawn all loot nor does it wipe ruined items off the map (ruined items despawn soon after they are ruined and no player is nearby)
