Hello everyone, Can anyone please give me any advice as to how to most effectively use the cubene anki deck with the 300 page KA document? I really don't learn well with reading (as I think that it is passive), so I was thinking of going through the KA videos that correspond with each deck section as they are more visual and elaborate and then going through each portion of the deck.

Im shooting for a 515. I used the 86 page one for my first mcat and the 300 page one for the second mcat. I liked the 300 page better. For my P/S content review, I used the 86 pg doc and premed95's anki deck. If I ever felt uncomfortable with something in the 86 pg doc, I'd watch the corresponding KA video. YMMV, but I ended up with a 132 in P/S. Hi guys! After over 30 hours, I've finally finished the Anki deck based on the 300pg doc and KA videos, divided up into subsections! HERE IT IS. Gotcha. So if I'm starting from about 0 knowledge of the topics, and I don't test till late May, would you say I'm doing the right thing by using the 300 page document and Kahn Academy videos, and then going into practicing with it? Just wanna make sure I don't take a month learning this all to find it wasn't the right way to study However I have seen some people saying a lot of what the MCAT tests on for psych/soc is better learned through just memorizing theorists, psychologists, theories, etc. and that there are better ways to learn it than reading the Kaplan book (like Flashcards and a 300 page document of some sort?). Thanks for the advice! Well depends on what you're aiming for. If youre crunched on time and just want to get the main points (high yield), then 86 doc is probably sufficient. If you want to memorize a lot of detail just in case and are shooting for a very high score, then the 300 page doc is good coverage. 86 page document supplementing with ... Thanks! Skip the Kaplan P/S book; just do the Khan academy 300 page doc if you have time, or 100. - I was doing some Section Bank problems from the AAMC and the Khan 100 page document is much better than the Kaplan.Do the 300 page doc, use the cube deck, read the Kaplan book, make anki cards, do the section bank, redo the section bank, take at least 3 of the AAMC FLs if not the fourth as well, make anki cards on everything you missed, and then hope for the best Nothing is a guarantee on the MCAT unfortunately. A lot of that section is reading comprehension IMO so your results may vary but the 300 page doc is plenty of content review. Yes, the 300 page doc is made from Khan Academy which is in my opinion the best resource for P/S review we have for AAMC stuff. Third-party books aren't really as on the nose as Khan Academy. Literally all I did was read the 300 page doc and watched the KA videos on YouTube for any harder topics. Then would do that section on Uworld and then anki- Borus deck. And would make new cards on the missed Uworld questions because those were golden with explanations and pictures.

When I began studying, it was winter break, so I focused on reading the Kaplan books/Vanilla doc for about 7-8 hours a day, including doing the review questions in the books. I had about 14 days of full-time studying before I went back to lab and cut my studying down to 1-2 hours a day. I supplemented reading the Kaplan books with Anki. Just wondering if there are any newer versions of it or if the mcat chagned at all since then. thanks! The psych content is the same. All that's "changing" is the modern psych mcat is less content regurgitating and more critical thinking/application.

The 300 page P/S document absolutely SUCKS. I'm really sorry. I'm grateful to whoever took the time to create this document, but there are so many typos. SO MANY. The sentences are incoherent. The ideas are disjointed. The format is a nightmare. The "lazy OCD" version is exactly the same. Same sentences, different format.
