Taste: soft, rum raisin, figs, brown sugar. Slight oak and cherry. I thought there’d be more depth for a 24 yr. Finish: some heat but still smooth , medium length, slight wood varnish, chocolate pop tart. This is very solid especially considering the price for a 24 year. ($80) Very smooth with a solid taste profile.
Months later I tried the Kirkland 24 YO scotch and compared the two to my taste buds. I preferred the 23 YO. Other reviewers were in agreement.
