Is marikas hammer good.
The dual wield hammer moveset is not amazing. The AoW is strong and has infinite hyper armor and huge range, but is very slow. So if you mean PvP, it could do some real work in teams or FFA, but only people totally unfamiliar with it will get hit by it in duels. Single two handed hammer moveset is, ok, but not amazing either.

Yeah, Marika's is one of those weapons. Plain hammer, used mostly in one handed styles, and lacks any major special or unique properties besides its ability. In comparison, you got the Morning Star which is a bleed hammer, infusable, has optional thrust attacks, is found in Limgrave, and makes Marika's Hammer feel iffy in comparison.

Marika's hammer states that SHE's the one who broke the elden ring, whereas Radagon tried to mend it - the first rune to be removed was destined death, which is why the tarnished exist and why the world is in the state that it is. This is not correct. The theft/sealing of Destined Death occurred well before the Shattering.

What does prevent these r2s from being as bad as flails though is the quick release of the attacks and the ability to control the release timing, which makes a huge difference.Radagon is somewhat good for casters later on but not really.
