But, back to the basic question. Can you login your Mangadex account to Tachiyomi? After completing the captcha in webview, you will be brought back to mangadex's page. All you have to do is log in with your account. Make sure to check "remember for 1 year". After logging in, just exit out of webview. You'll now be able to search properly again in Tachiyomi's mangadex.

It is probably the same reason as to why Tachiyomi removed Mangadex and other sources from their App. Is most likely cause of Kaokao sending a CD or legal action to remove Mangadex from their sources. So as a cover they probably decided to purge the sources and wait until the situation calms down a bit.This would still require Tachiyomi to remove the code for MangaDex, but would allow them to issue a counter-notice explaining why Kakao has no grounds to take such code down.
