After playing and doing a bit more research it seems the Flames of devotion works better with dual wielding because of the full attack, it gets 2 hits while buffed. In any case, if it's like the paladin aura, it would be quite small (2.5 meters), so it woud likely only affect you and the other melee most of the time. In any case, I think they are a strong candidate for tanks of all sorts.TB mode is already bogged down as it is. Healers/buffing Clerics, Cyphers and chanters are pretty straight-forward, buffs and heals tend to go off when you cast them. Ranged is stronger than melee in turn based since movement is given for free between attacks.
