I've been searching for hours trying to find a mod that could turn off companion auto heal but on normal difficulty the closest thing I could do was to use the Survival Options mod to turn off all the things added by Survival with only Companion auto heal staying off. About the very hard mode: I like to kill strong enemies, I think this made the game slower because you can die every 3 minutes but it has the better combat I think, also is good to find more legendary equipment.
