Or, maybe take your battery cables off and touch them together. Also, while they are off. Cycle the key to run then off. If it's a security issue the truck should start or at least cough and then die. The 2 second pump cycle when the key is first turned should provide enough fuel for it to start. Then it will die because the fuel pump doesn't turn on. If it's not doing this, it could be an entirely separate issue.
