I-485 case transferred to another office.
My case has been gathering dust at the NBC for a full 12 months (USCIS received my case 29 Aug 2022). This week 2 Emma agents confirmed that it was transferred to a non-local field office since 22 Aug 2023. My question is, when i-485 is moved to a field office (non-local), does it mean that all background checks are complete?

If so, likely means your petition is good and transfer is for other items on the 485. Transfer to nbc is good..now they will transfer to some FO and hopefully you will have adjudication within 3 months.. (mine was transferred from TSC to NBC to FO) and e2e it was about 3 months till card in hand.
