My shopper will go silent for 30 mins with only a couple items scanned, then another 40 items all get scanned at once right before they check out. And for some reason the last three times they've replaced Caesar dressing with chipotle ranch.

Definitely a scam. I have heard of support reps calling asking people to do a batch on this subreddit, particularly in rural areas when a batch has been unstopped for a few days. That is also the number instacart texts if I swipe something as credit at a debit location. But if they call just be careful and never give out codes.Instacart eats the expense unless it's an online pay order (through the retailer app such as Kroger). Then the customer has prepaid the order, the charge pends for the week out of the customer's bank, and Kroger eats it 90/10 with IC.Instacart promotion is a scam. Instacart in my area says they'll guarantee $74 if you complete at least 4 batches today but most batches are doubles, triples and they only count a double or triple as 1 batch apparently.
