Fountain View rooms would be in the wings that face the strip, but they would be in positions on the floor where you'd get the most unobstructed view of the fountains. Pool view are also in the wings that face the strip, on lower floors.Save. I have seen price quotes between $45 per day to $75 per day. (We were quoted $75). I'm sure it aries by season & occupancy levels at the hotel. For myself & my aunt it was not worth the $75 as we were getting our drinks while playing & the most we could have offset was breakfast at about $30 total.No one has ever woken up in Vegas thinking they were anywhere else. Adding a little to your situation is the fact that 2 queen (or 2 double) rooms are relatively rare in Las Vegas resorts. In many cases, connecting rooms are a King + 2 Queens or some sort of smallish suite + 2 Queens. To improve your chances of getting rooms close together get both rooms are the same reservation.

Stay hydrated (alcohol doesn't count as hydrating, lol) and you'll be fine. Drinks can be had for a reasonable amount at the ABC Store just outside PH in the Miracle Mile shops.
