Soft resets wipe everything that isn't on your character. So all of the vehicles, any changes to the buildings, etc, all get reset. But you keep your skills and the gear you have in your inventory. As for adding vehicles to an existing world, it should spawn them in chunks you haven't visited, but this most likely depends on the mods themselves. What about the server-console.txt then, if you are the host one of those files has to be created, since that is the server log. There should be several files in the Zomboid folder There are Logs, Lua, mods, Sandbox Presets, Saves, Server, Workshop folders, console.txt, latestSave.ini, logs.zip, options.ini.
