RadOnc has researched themselves out of a job. Studies show less radiation can achieve the same results as more radiation and immunotherapies just keep getting better and better so there's even less need for radiotherapy. On top of this they expanded their residency slots so there's a surplus of candidates.

If I had to choose it all over again, I would choose radonc, because my choice was made 15 years ago. If I were choosing NOW, I would choose Heme/Onc in a heartbeat over radonc. No doubt. Radonc is cooler, sure, but the job market is going to be complete trash for graduating residents for a loooooooong time. 6 users.
