Also some track side shadows / lights type graphics literally draw maybe 30m ahead of your car and it’s quite distracting and very disappointing for a supposedly AAA racing game in 2023. It’s especially noticeable on oval-type circuits, where the shadow on the Armco magically appears about 30m ahead of you.

My biggest gripe, and one that I haven't seen mentioned in any review, is the track/car content. There's just a handful of new tracks, all returns from previous GT games. And the car list is underwhelming with regards to newer models. Only 1 Mercedes newer than 2017, the newest production BMW is the M4 from 2014.
