That size tractor/loader cannot lift that much. Trying to lift 2000 lbs - You will either just lift the back end (if you don't have enough rear ballast) or it will just go into bypass and sit there, not lifting anything (if you have enough ballast). Skid steers have much higher lift capacity for their size than tractor loaders do.

With my RK24 purchase, I added the loader, grapple, rotary cutter (bush hog), box blade, carry all forks & rear blade. The grapple in itself has made firewood processing a game changer for me (see the pic below). The attached picture shows a 4' red oak, approximately 20-22" in diameter.The RK24 with loader is just short of 2100 lbs. If you are doing that you may want to consider one of the compact sized 24 hp tractors. Tractors like the Kioti CK1024 have much higher loader capacities and will be much more stable. Ideally, something closer to a utility class tractor would be used for loading bales.After reading both the RK24 and RK55 start procedures listed in the manuals, it's become clear that the glow plug functionality is different on these tractors (as verified by owners in this thread).
