This is located in western Algeria near Morocco, Western Sahara and Mauritania. The starting line is in Smara Camp and finishing in L'Ayoun. It is held in late February. This year was the second running for the event. Approximately 320 runners from around the world traveled to the Camps for this years Sahara Marathon.
