Hello, it is very unreliable to get that app to work for amiibos. The app developers have said adding amiibo spoofing support is not a priority for them at this time. So you are much better off using NFC tags for the time being. I also tried to make it with on my S8+ but only got it to work maybe twice the entire time I tried.
