The best flash hider (for reducing muzzle flash) currently on the market is supposed to be the JP Enterprises JPFH-556L now that the 249F isn't available any more. It is going to make your 14.5 a little longer than 16.5 though.Phantom (both types) and Vortex are good for me. The various open and closed style Bi-Loc for Gemtech suppressors have also been good.
