Test it on a fire resistant monster like the Specter. You make need the modules Automated Animations and Midi-QOL. I highly suggest Midi-QOL to make your life as a DM much better becuase it can handle damage, To Hit checks, and saving throws automatically. I'm not an expert at Foundry, but I did tool around with this for a while to get it working.

With MIDI-QOL you do have a few options in your automation. You can choose to fast forward only attack rolls or attack/damage. You can choose to have saves automatically rolled, players roll it themselves, or prompt the players. So it does have options but it is definitely geared toward individuals that want to automate their game.

DAE + Midi-qol can do this. There is a setting I believe with Midi QoL in the workflow settings where you turn off auto damage and you select what type of damage you do after you roll. I'm using an adult red dragon attacking the Zanna PC from the compendium in the 5e system and it works. You should double check and update DAE, socketlib, and libWrapper.
