The wheel is belt driven along with gears for the force feedback. This wheel feels much more realistic and less choppy than the Logitech wheel. Excellent force feedback and steering feel. It is noticeably smoother and more realistically that Logitech's wheel. The force feedback mechanism in the T150 feels like it is directly out of a $400+ wheel.

T150 is gear and belt driven so it will feel reasonably smoother than the G29. G29 comes with much better pedals the T150.
