Simply go to: C:\\Users\\<user>\\Documents\\my games\\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn delete all the contents in there, and then right click on the folder itself; it'll be set as read only. Uncheck that. You should be set after that. Boot up final fantasy XIV, and enter Eorzea.
