It should continue to see play. The change to the bottom is much less significant, since this card was and will be used primarily for the top. Move 1 + Loot 1 is clearly much weaker than Move 4, however. The Tinker is a support class, and tends to work better in larger parties (though you say you are playing as a group of 4). Ultimately, the Tinker's kit is super flexible! Sure you can't bust out the damage of the Spellweaver or the tanking of a Brute, but you can do pretty good damage, inflict negative conditions, create summons for tanking or ... Brute, you're going to need someone to take point and take the hits for the group. The brute is much better at this than the Craigheart I'm playing with a 4 player group, and the brutes ability to mitigate damage and redirect attacks is essential. Plus, you're team won't have a lot of healing so grab lots of potions.

Despite what I said earlier, the tinkerer is a pretty reliable mid-battle healer, especially since he gets a good number of bottom heals. As a ranged class, he can attack with a top action and still heal an ally without moving. By adding strengthen/bless, your allies get stronger and can make up for the Tinker's relatively low damage output.
