These KRX's are already geared lower than many other machines and they seem to do well with 35's by themselves. From what I have seen, there are lots of people running 35's on stock machines. The K9's do look impressive.The weight of the Tusk Terrrabite 34x10x15 tire alone is 43.5 lbs, the factory Carnivores are 33.2lbs, mine measured right at 33.75" on the machine with 10 psi. Installed a dual band (VHF/UHF) antenna on my KRX. I run the Tusk aluminum roof as I wanted a metal reflective surface for a good ground plane. I had to make a custom mount to get the antenna vertical. The KRX roof slopes forward about 10 degrees. I managed to get pretty good SWR readings on both bands. 8.

Most mods are tweeks and improvements, customizing the ride as yours. Stock is fine, but many accessories simply enhance the ride. The machine is highly capable stock. it's a slippery slope. once you start adding "stuff". I was able to wire the video feed of my FLIR camera into the radio. The screen size and resolution are great!!
